The Slokker Group entered the American and Canadian real estate markets in the late 1970s with offices in Denver and Toronto, As the economy improved in the early 1990s, the company's activities expanded into other locations. The acquisition of an American/Dutch real estate organization in 1995, with offices and activities in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Tampa, Jacksonville and Phoenix, saw the North American office move to Washington, DC. Following the move, activities in Dallas, Orlando, Providence, Maryland, New Jersey, Calgary and Toronto were  added.
